I THANK YOU, LORD FOR MY MOM!

There is no greater Mom than my Mommy!

She is an achiever in her own field of Accountancy as an Executive at the Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation with wisdom and idealism and at the same time, a loving Mommy!

Now at 86, she is even a more beautiful person, full of love and care for the whole family!!!

Jan 3, 2015 Blessing 9: DADDY'S BIRTHDAY

THANK YOU, LORD for giving me a most wonderful DADDY!

There is no other better Dad in the whole wide world!

Today is his natal day. 

He is a Radiologist by profession and was Chief Radiologist at the Southern Islands Medical Center (now Vicente Sotto Medical Center) and later at the San Miguel Corporation  Clinic = Visayas - Mindanao.

He later became Officer-in-charge, Chief of Hospital, Southern Islands Medical Center (now Vicente Sotto Medical Center) and later at Chief of Medical Services at San Miguel Corporation  Clinic = Visayas - Mindanao.

Aside from Diagnostic Radiology, he also trained in Nuclear Medicine at the Royal Marsden Hospital, United Kingdom and for a time, practiced Nuclear Medicine at the Cebu Doctors' Hospital.

But most of all, he is a most loving Dad and that includes fetching me from school when I was a little girl, lots of eat out together (I remember Majestic Restaurant in Colon!) and lots of quality time as a Dad!

I know I was a Daddy's girl (and a Mommy's girl too!) 

Though, he is no longer with us, his love, his teachings, the discipline and the relaxed moments are forever in my heart!!!

BLESSINGS FOR 2016!

I have not been so active in posting for "In Pinay's Eyes" primarily because my life was so full of challenges and opportunities that gave me more time to live life but less time to write.

But this year, I will do my best to share a post a day (I must be dreaming!) and share the blessings that come my way!

Just as I am starting my photoblogs for 2016, I was rank 171 for Top Blogs - Photoblogs. After four hours with four new posts, suddenly it is up to 66!

I thank the Lord for the Ricamora and the Sanson families in Cebu City!

I missed our reunions for December 2015 but the bond continues to strengthen.

Though, we are far apart, we know the LOVE is always there!

I was so glad to have a lazy day with my family... time to relax and just be ourselves!

... extended sleep hours

... walk in the mall

... dinner with friends

... away from the hospital!

P.S. We were not dressed up for today. These photos were taken early December during my Mom-in-law's 80th birthday! Thankful too for being given the chance to transform physically even for a day! 

New Year's Eve: Blessing 1 CMZ ER

Blessing No. 1: CMZ Emergency Room

The blessing of my family as we spent New Year's Eve until New Year morning at the Ciudad Medical Zamboanga Emergency Room for "service to humanity"!

Thanks to these beautiful and competent Emergency Room people who made the duty "fun" and with a little less stress!

And these are the ER guys who came the next day to continue the love!
