Day 21.
I know the War is not yet done, even if they say, the Zamboanga Crisis is over!
And I heard the Clearing Operations may still take two more weeks!!!
Yes, some flights are back... some banks are open... businesses are also now open!
Classes are supposed to resume... but apprehensive parents are not sure if it is already safe!
Last Friday, only 12 students came out of the 3,000 students in one school.
Some parents came over to check if the other students came!
Offices are also said to resume, although, many offices have also moved to safer places!
Traffic is back!
BUT, people still can't go back to the affected places!
... AND I am still "afraid" to see more injured soldiers...
It will still be a "Wait and See" situation in the next week...
Meanwhile, we still have to keep our hopes up and plan for the rebuilding of Zamboanga!
Definitely, not an easy task but we have to start somewhere!
LET US CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR ZAMBOANGA!
LEVANTA ZAMBOANGA!!!
Let us share the feeling and infect others so Zamboanga can rise higher than before!!!
Keep safe. We're all praying for you guys there.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mys. We are fine. We still pray for soldiers doing the clearing operations, that there will be no other casualties. And we pray that Zamboanga leaders and community will be enlightened as to the right road towards successful Disaster Recovery!
DeleteWow! That view from the top is an awesome shot, but of course the disaster and war which is still on going are troubling a lot of us Filipinos. Stay safe sis.
ReplyDeleteMy brother already went to work yesterday but was not allowed to stay that long. Pinauwi na sin sila. Going near the City Hall area daw is so difficult these days.
ReplyDeleteStay safe! I'll be praying for all Filipino's in Zamboanga:)
ReplyDeleteLove the photo above. Zamboanga is a paradise talaga and hopefully peace will be back soon. Stay same po Ms Pinay.
ReplyDeleteWar really isn't over as there was one more soldier who recently died, diba? I really feel sorry for our brave warriors and the conditions they need to endure. On the other hand, I can't blame the parents for not sending their children to school yet!
ReplyDeleteI pray for it to be over ..the earlier the better. I pray for a safe and happy Zamboanga soon and for safety of our fellow filipino's there. I really do not get their reason to fight and have this war or action. I think they are doing this for selfish reasons. Have pity please for our fellow pinoys. I pray for this war to stop.
